Tony Roche an acclaimed award-winning Landscape artist, self-taught, began his painting career at age 18.
Tony illustrates in oils our unique countryside of vibrant colours, beautiful trees and bush, seascapes and snow capped mountains and valleys. His passion is in realistic portrait of NZ landscape.
Recently he experiments in abstract landscape painting which won him an Award.
His latest awards include ‘Award of Excellence” at Nelson Art Expo 2017 and the top 10 finalists for Award in Dunedin Art show 2017. He also won the Black Ridge Wines People’s Choice Award, the highest accolade in the Dunedin Art show.
Tony loves to help people to appreciate art, he has made numerous donations to charities and school fairs with his art. One of his passions is teaching “Foot and Mouth Artists” and “Special Needs children”.
