Karin has drawn and painted most of her life and is largely self taught.
​
She use oils, watercolours, pastels and pencil. Her subjects are usually animals, in particular horses and landscapes, although she also does more interpretive work.
​
Karin lives in North Loburn and is a member of the Rangiora, Ashburton, Waite and Otago Art Societies, and exhibits mainly through their exhibitions.
​
Her paintings have been awarded People's Choice, merit awards and premier Awards at art exhibitions and competitions throughout the South Island.
