Ali Quinn:
Christchurch
Originally from the UK but based in Christchurch for the past 20 years, Ali is largely a self taught artist. She particularly enjoys creating abstract pieces using acrylic mediums. She is captivated by people and enjoys nothing more than teaching - especially the 'non arty' type who go home after one of her classes with their own creation that they are happy to hang on their wall.
She likes to challenge herself by trialling new techniques and styles, often utilising tools such as online tutorials or simply when she's inspired by something she's never seen.
