Tony Harding:
Hanmer Springs
Tony is a Hanmer Springs resident who works in the village.
His stone work is inspired by its natural form and potential practical use, turning a large rock into a useful bowl while also being a display piece. Tony also applies very careful craft work to some stones turning them into striking sculptures.
The tree copper work involves hours of intricate creativity and patience by Tony. The large copper tree featured on this page took over 90 hours to create. Tony's style of sculpture is unique and each piece is different.
